Blaze Code (“we”, “us”) builds AI-powered software for small businesses in Egypt and the broader MENA region. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit blaze-code.com, interact with our chat assistant Blaze AI, or message us through WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, or Instagram.
1. Information we collect
When you contact us through any of our channels, we may collect:
- Contact details — name, phone number, email address, and the messaging platform identifier (e.g., your WhatsApp number, Facebook Page-Scoped ID, or Instagram-Scoped ID) if you provide them or if the platform shares them with us.
- Conversation content — the messages you send to Blaze AI and the responses generated, along with timestamps and language preference.
- Booking information — if you book a meeting with us, we collect your name, preferred time, contact details, and the topic you wish to discuss.
- Technical data — anonymized analytics on how visitors use our website (Google Analytics), such as page views, referrers, and approximate country (no precise location, no fingerprinting). We do not place advertising cookies.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your messages and questions through our AI assistant or, when escalation is needed, a human team member.
- To schedule, confirm, reschedule, and remind you of meetings you book with us.
- To improve Blaze AI’s accuracy and quality (we may review anonymized samples of conversations).
- To comply with legal obligations and to defend against fraud or abuse of our services.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use your messages to train any third-party general-purpose AI models.
3. AI processing and bot scope
What Blaze AI is: a purpose-specific assistant scoped to answering questions about our products (Clinova, Numi, and other Blaze Code services) and scheduling 15-minute introduction calls with our team. It is not a general-purpose chat assistant or a substitute for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.
Technology: Blaze AI uses Google’s Gemini language model to generate replies. When you send a message, the text of that message is transmitted to Google’s API to produce a response. Google processes this content according to their privacy policy.
No model training on your data: we will not allow your conversations, contact details, or any data you share with us to be used to create, develop, train, fine-tune, or improve any general-purpose machine learning or artificial intelligence model. Google’s API terms separately commit to not training their generally available models on Gemini API inputs.
Speak to a human: at any point during a conversation, you may type “human”, “agent”, or simply ask to speak with a person, and your conversation will be routed to a member of our team. You may also email info@blaze-code.com directly to bypass the AI entirely.
4. Platform compliance
When you contact us via WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, or Instagram, Meta’s platform terms also apply to that conversation. Our handling of platform data complies with the WhatsApp Business Solution Terms and the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies, including the 2026 prohibition on using business platform data to train AI models.
5. Data retention, deletion, and opt-out
Conversation history is retained indefinitely so that returning visitors don’t lose context. You can request deletion at any time (see Section 7). Booking records are retained for as long as we have a business relationship, plus the period required by applicable accounting and tax law.
How to delete your data: email info@blaze-code.com from the same address (or with the same phone number, IG handle, or Facebook identity) you used to contact us, with the subject line “Delete my data”. We will permanently delete all associated conversation history, booking records, and contact details within 14 days, and confirm by email when done. There is no fee for this request.
How to stop receiving messages: reply “STOP”, “UNSUBSCRIBE”, or “إلغاء” in any of our chat channels. We will mark your account as opted out and not send further messages, though existing replies in an active 24-hour conversation window may still complete.
Use scope: the personal information you share with us is used exclusively for the purposes described in Section 2. We do not repurpose it for targeted advertising, profile building, third-party data sales, or any use beyond serving you.
6. Service providers we share data with
- Meta Platforms (WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram) — to deliver messages between you and us. Their privacy policy governs how Meta handles platform-side data.
- Google — for the Gemini AI API (above), Google Calendar (booking management), and Google Analytics (anonymized site analytics).
- Supabase — managed Postgres database hosted in the EU/US region, used to store conversation history and bookings.
- Vercel — hosts our website and handles serverless compute for the chat backend.
- Resend — delivers transactional emails (booking confirmations, calendar invites).
7. Security
We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit. Stored data is encrypted at rest by our hosting providers. Access to internal admin tools is restricted to authorized personnel and protected by strong authentication.
8. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information or deletion of your information.
- Withdraw consent to ongoing communication at any time.
- Object to specific uses of your information (such as analytics).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@blaze-code.com. We aim to respond within 14 days.
9. Children
Blaze Code’s services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. International transfers
We are based in Egypt. Our service providers store data in datacenters located in the European Union, the United States, and other regions. By using our services you consent to your information being transferred to and processed in these regions, subject to the safeguards described above.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
